Introduction
This web accessibility compliance guide explains how QRCodeKIT approaches quality, security, sustainability and accessibility through a structured continuous improvement framework.
At QRCodeKIT, we believe trust is earned through consistent, measurable improvements, not one time efforts. That mindset shapes how we build and operate our service, strengthening reliability, protecting customer information and making our digital experience usable for as many people as possible.
Building a strong foundation with ISO certifications
A strong accessibility compliance process begins with structured management systems.
In 2024 and 2025, QRCodeKIT achieved certification to:
- ISO 9001 for Quality Management
- ISO 27001 for Information Security Management
- ISO 14001 for Environmental Management
The ISO 27001 journey was especially impactful. It reinforced how we manage information security risk and formalized controls that help us maintain strong protections and consistent practices.
These certifications reflect a broader commitment to improving how we work, how we document what we do and how we verify it over time. This foundation directly supports our long term accessibility and compliance efforts.
A structured review of accessibility
As part of that same continuous improvement approach, in late 2025 we began a structured review of accessibility for qrcodekit.com and the related web experience used to create and manage dynamic QR codes.
This work enabled us to complete a VPAT, or Voluntary Product Accessibility Template, and produce an Accessibility Conformance Report, also known as an ACR. These documents provide transparency on how our web experience aligns with recognized accessibility requirements and where improvements may still be needed.
Accessibility is not treated as a one time checklist. It is embedded within our broader quality and risk management processes.
Why international accessibility standards matter
QRCodeKIT serves customers worldwide. Organizations in different regions may be subject to different accessibility expectations, especially in regulated environments and procurement processes.
To support customers with consistent and widely recognized documentation, we completed the VPAT International Edition aligned to the following standards.
WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA
These are globally recognized guidelines for web accessibility and are used broadly across industries to evaluate digital accessibility.
Revised Section 508 in the United States
Section 508 is commonly referenced in United States government procurement and by organizations that align with federal accessibility requirements.
EN 301 549 in Europe
EN 301 549 is a widely used European standard for ICT accessibility and is often referenced in public sector procurement and broader accessibility programs.
Aligning with these standards helps our customers evaluate QRCodeKIT against their own legal obligations and internal accessibility policies, whether they operate in the United States, Europe or across multiple markets.
The role of VPAT and accessibility documentation
Completing the VPAT process and producing an Accessibility Conformance Report is fundamentally about transparency.
It communicates how our service performs against recognized criteria and supports customers who require accessibility documentation as part of their due diligence process.
It also provides a structured foundation for tracking improvements as the product evolves and accessibility requirements develop over time.
Continuous monitoring and improvement
QRCodeKIT is continuously developed and updated. Accessibility is therefore continuously monitored and reviewed.
We continue to monitor accessibility, refine the user experience and address issues as they are identified so that our website and service remain dependable, secure and usable for the broadest range of customers and end users.
Reviews, assessments and audit processes help us prioritize improvements and focus on the areas that need the most attention.

Feedback and ongoing collaboration
We value feedback from customers and users and welcome suggestions and improvement opportunities so we can continue strengthening and improving the QRCodeKIT experience.
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. Through structured management systems, formal documentation and continuous evaluation, this web accessibility compliance guide reflects our practical approach to maintaining alignment with recognized international standards while continuing to improve over time.
