What is the difference between unique scans and scans?

Learn what counts as a unique scan and what as a scan

A unique scan counts as the first time a QR Code was scanned within 30 minutes, which is the time span of the created Cookie in the user's device. For example, if a user scans a QR Code at 10 AM, it counts as a unique scan. If the same user scans the same QR Code at 11 AM, it counts as another unique scan.

A scan includes a sequence of visits to the content of the QR Code after a unique scan within 30 minutes. A unique scan already contains a scan. For example, if a user scans a QR Code at 10 AM and scans it again at 10:15 AM, it counts as one unique scan and two scans.
